Tossing and Turning

Recently, I haven't slept very well.  My mind is still processing the loss of my mother-in-law.  At night, I go over and over scenes from our past, our times together, thinking about Doug.  It's long ago and far away, but in the middle of the night, it seems like last week.

That's the thing about our pasts....it's only yesterday.
