Sage remains on medication for her knee. I occasionally give her Rimadyl. But the side effects of Rimadyl are liver and kidney related. Not something to toy with. Recently, Sage went to the vet for her blood work. Nothing to worry about, but some elevated levels to watch.
So now, we're back to exercising a bit more, get the weight off, and less stress to the knee = less medicine.
She is a love bucket and we need her to be around for a long long time.
